February 2 - Groundhog Day - Gobbler's Knob - Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, USA. Punxsutawney is a quaint small town. There is not a lot of great local lodging, but we enjoyed seeing the town were Phil predicts the weather each February. We grabbed a couple of photos of the various painted groundhogs that are dotted around town and saw the giant.

Gobbler's Knob. Address: Woodland Ave., Punxsutawney, PA. Directions: Southeast of town. Take Hwy 36 a quarter mile east of US 119, then turn right (south) on Woodland Ave. Drive for one mile. The road bends sharply to the left, then to the right. Gobblers Knob will be on the east side of the road, at the crest of the hill.

Gobbler's Knob has a great place to rent for you parties but if you are going just for a vsit you may not see what you think you will find.
